Longsan Veneer Co., Ltd. was established in 1970 as a joint venture with M.T.C. of Italy, and became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Group in 1982. Longsan operates complete lines of veneer slicing mill. Veneers are produced in the standard length of 2,500 mm. And sliced thickness of 0.55 mm., 1 mm., 1.4 mm. and 2.5 mm.

The veneers are made in crown, half crown and quarter cuts and furnished in both flitch and spliced lay-on, according to customer specifications. Customized thickness and size is also accepted to accommodate special requirements.

Having been in the veneer business for more than 36 years, Longsan Veneer not only provides high-quality veneer materials but is also a strong business in Santi Forestry Group by herself from trading large volume of decorative veneers both to Europe and North America.

While the majority of its production is teak veneer, other woods such as oak, beech, ash and maple are also used to supply both the domestic and export markets.
