Santi Forestry Co., Ltd. (SFC) started the business of sawmill in 1972 and rapidly earned a reputation for their excellent teak conversions.
It is not surprising to find that many famous yachts, cruise and passenger ships are decked with product from Santi Forestry sawmill. Even in the renovation of old warships, decking from SFC was often selected. SFC currently operates several sawmills in Thailand and Myanmar dedicated entirely to teak cutting. Of the more than 500 staff employed, many are highly experienced sawyers, and some have carved out lifetime careers in this field.

After more than 36 years in this business SFC staff are highly skilled in logs selection and cutting. Each log is carefully inspected several times during cutting in order to secure defect free boards. Each board is graded strictly in compliance with international grading rules and market norm.

SFC is also equipped with facilities for further processing, especially kiln drying and moldings, so that customers can benefit from a full range of products. SFC adheres seriously to the corporate policy of environmental protection and sustainable forest management.
